A Golden response from the Pied Piper of Pong
Who did but recently acquire pips that are long.
Men bolder than Pied have longies served for years
Prompting many spin pirates to shed plenty of tears.
The flutter, the nothingness, the irregular flight
Of balls brushed by long pips cause many dire plight.
But the camaraderie remains, game after game
We choose our own weapons leaving no one to blame.
And would I have hours to scribe and to rhyme
I would happily continue with this banter sublime.
Alas, duty calls and my wit's running dry
The best I can say is "until next time, bye-bye."
