Severe Blow to Pong Club - 3/18/2009

Greetings:
I regret to inform you that the new "For Lease" space we have been using on a contingency basis has been leased by the Property Manager. Everything must be out of this space (The Old Bingo Parlor) by the end of the month.
Table Tennis activities will continue this week, including the Saturday (March 21st) Training Program. However, Saturday the 21st will be the last day of table tennis activities, as I need the remainder of March to empty out the space. (Those who paid for a monthly membership – please see me about a partial rebate).
We are negotiating with Faith Mountain Church, which is located next door to our old space (Old Daycare Center).
The Church has a suitable room in the upstairs of the building. However this room will not be available until approximately May 1st, and the Pastor needs approvals from his staff and the building owner. The Pastor also needs to check if the certificate of occupancy (on file with the building department) is suitable for our potential use of this space.
A lot of "ifs", but it does seem pretty clear the Club will be shut down for at least a month, after this Saturday. Please come out and support us this week, as it will be our last for a while.
